Environmental Art Residential Workshops
The environmental arts residency took place at the Ogmore Center Trust in Wales over a two week period where separate works shops were delivered to both primary and secondary aged school groups.
The Center is surrounded by stunning natural scenery, as well as varied architectural and industrial environments. The residency provided an intensive introduction to environmental art, allowing students to create and complete an integral part of there course work.
Resident artists started the week with an introduction to environmental art in the natural and urban environment. The course also comprised field trips to enable students to gather research materials and produce works on location whilst directly engaging with the environment.
The course culminated with a presentation showcasing the final installations along side preparatory work including macquets, sketches and photos.
