Client: The Shed Youth Centre, Shepway district council.
Working alongside lead artist Matt RoweThis project engaged with a number of young people to help them create a new Identity for there annual urban sports competition held at the shed in Folkestone.
Dawn Of The Shed was an outreach project for The Shed youth centre. Working along side the youth group the project brief was to create a visual identity for the BMX and skate jam.
Through a series of discussions with members of the youth centre, a small creative team was developed who collaboratively established a concept. The results images from the final workshop were printed as posters and registration forms for the event Day, to help administrate the event.
The project used portraiture as a cohesive means to unite the various social groups that used the urban sports site.
